PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater cutoff method capable of shutting off water by appropriately closing inside the pipeline through which water flows even under water flowing conditions.SOLUTION: The underwater cut-off method under water flowing conditions, includes: a step to dispose a first cutoff member (12, 31) which has a flow path through which water can flow in the central part of a conduit line (3, 22b) through which water is flowing under flowing water conditions (S12); a step to close the flow path (12a, 31a) of the first cutoff member (12, 31) by means of a second cutoff member (13) (S15); and a step to inject a curable liquid or a fluid of water-stopping agent at the upper stream side of the first cutoff member (12, 31) and the second cutoff member (13) inside the conduit line (3, 22b) through which water flows (S13,S17).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
