PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door guard and a door guard device which can prevent an arm member from automatically engaging a hook.SOLUTION: A door guard 2 is provided with a base plate 30, an arm member 20, a pivot-limiting device 4. The base plate 30 is attached to an interior surface 101 of a door 100 at a door end side. The arm member 20 is slidably supported with respect to the base plate 30 in a first direction closer to a door guard receiver 5 and in a second direction away from the guard receiver 5 to allow a root end 22 in the second direction to pivotably move to a closer direction closer to the interior surface 101 and to pivotably move to an away direction away from the interior surface 101. The pivot-limiting device 4, when the arm member 20 is moved in the second direction to a pivotable position, allow the arm member 20 to move pivotably, and when the arm member 20 slidably moved in the first direction beyond the pivotable position to a pivot-limiting position, limit the arm member 20 to pivotably move in the away direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】自動的にアーム部材がフックに係合してしまうことを防止できるドアガードおよびドアガード装置を提供すること。【解決手段】ドアガード２は、台座３０と、アーム部材２０と、回動規制装置４とを備える。台座３０は、扉１００の戸先側の屋内面１０１に取り付けられる。アーム部材２０は、台座３０に対して、ドアガード受具５に接近する第１方向およびドアガード受具５から離れる第２方向にスライド移動可能に支持され、第２方向側の基端部２２が屋内面１０１に接近する接近方向および屋内面１０１から離れる離間方向に回動可能である。回動規制装置４は、アーム部材２０が第２方向にスライド移動されて回動許容位置にある場合には、アーム部材２０の回動を許容し、アーム部材２０が回動許容位置よりも第１方向にスライド移動されて回動規制位置にある場合には、アーム部材２０の離間方向への回動を規制する。【選択図】図１
