PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closer with an internally mounted stop device capable of stably holding a door in an open state and adjusting a holding force for holding the door in the open state.SOLUTION: A door closer with an internally mounted stop device includes a door closer body 1 having the stop device mounted therein. The door closer body 1 comprises a main shaft 3 which rotates along with an opening and closing of the door and a main spring 5 for generating a closing force, and the stop device includes a cam 8 having engaging recesses 27 and 28 on an outer peripheral surface and rotating integrally with the main shaft 3, an engaging ball 9 engageable with the engaging recesses 27 and 28 of the cam 8, a stop spring 10 for pressing and biasing the engaging ball 9 against the cam 8 side, and a spring force adjustment member 11 for adjusting the spring force of the stop spring 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
