PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground excavation method capable of accurately determining whether or not an excavation drill reaches a target stratum.SOLUTION: A ground excavation method includes: an intermittent excavation step of repeating excavation and excavation stop in a portion shallower than a target stratum for each fixed depth; a lifting step of lifting an excavation drill upward by executed during the excavation stop; a dropping step of dropping the excavation drill to a depth before the step of lifting the excavation drill; an index measurement step of measuring an index corresponding to a resistance acting on the excavation drill from the stratum; and a reach determination step of determining whether or not the excavation drill reaches the target stratum based on a measurement value of the index. The lifting step includes lifting the excavation drill upward so that the resistance acting on the excavation drill from the stratum becomes the minimum based on the measurement value of the index, and keeping a rotational speed of the excavation drill, an excavation speed of the excavation drill, and a flow rate of a supply fluid supplied to the tip vicinity of the excavation drill at a fixed value during execution of the intermittent excavation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】掘削ドリルが目的の地層に到達したか否かを正確に判定可能な地盤の掘削方法を提供する。【解決手段】地盤の掘削方法は、目的の地層よりも以浅において掘進と掘進停止を一定深さ毎に繰り返す断続掘進工程と、掘進停止中に実行され、掘削ドリルを上方に引き上げる引き上げ工程と、掘削ドリルを引き上げ工程前の深度まで下降させる下降工程と、地盤から掘削ドリルに作用する抵抗に対応する指標を計測する指標計測工程と、指標の計測値に基づいて、掘削ドリルが目的の地層に到達したか否かを判定する到達判定工程と、を備える。引き上げ工程において、指標の計測値に基づいて、地盤から掘削ドリルに作用する抵抗が最小になるまで掘削ドリルを上方に引き上げ、断続掘進工程を実行中、掘削ドリルの回転速度、掘削ドリルの掘進速度、及び、掘削ドリルの先端付近に供給される供給流動体の流量を一定値に保つ。【選択図】図1
