PRODUCTION METHOD OF CERAMIC BASE COMPOSITE MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a ceramic base composite material, whose strength degradation is difficult to occur, with shorter production period.SOLUTION: The production method of a ceramic base composite material composed of a fabric containing a plurality of fiber bundles and a matrix arranged in clearances between fiber bundles contains: an element assembly forming step S1 of impregnating a polymer as a precursor of the matrix into a fabric, followed by firing, for forming an element assembly; and a densification step S2 of further impregnating a polymer to the element assembly, followed by firing. The densification step S2 contains: a second impregnation step S21 of further impregnating a polymer to the element assembly for forming an impregnated element assembly; a drying step S22 of drying the impregnated element assembly for forming a dried element assembly; a steam treatment step S23 of keeping the dried element assembly under a saturated steam pressure for forming a treated element assembly; and a firing step S25 of firing the treated element assembly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
