PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification device which can easily be post-mounted on an industrial vehicle equipped with a cutoff switch for forcibly interrupting energization of a battery in order to ensure safety during servicing maintenance and inspection.SOLUTION: A notification device 100 mounted on an industrial vehicle equipped with a cutoff switch 102 for forcibly interrupting power supply to a battery 101 has a timekeeping unit 108 that measures the elapsed time after turning off the ignition. The notification device has a notifying unit 109 for urging the worker to prohibit switching of the blocking switch 102 until the elapsed time after turning off the ignition exceeds a predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
