PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel member capable of weight saving as well as improving mechanical strength, and a manufacturing method of the panel member.SOLUTION: A panel member 10 includes a plurality of filler particles 2, a binder resin 3 covering at least the filler particle and binding between the filler particles, and a foaming resin 5 existing between the filler particles and made of a resin different from the binder resin. A manufacturing method of the panel member includes a mixing process mixing the plurality of the filler particles and a liquid resin 3a, an adding process adding a foaming resin precursor 5a to the mixture obtained by the mixing process, and a heating process heating the admixture 20 obtained by the adding process. In the heating process, after the foaming resin precursor is foamed, the liquid resin is cured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】機械的強度を高めつつも軽量化を図ることが可能なパネル部材及び当該パネル部材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】パネル部材10は、複数の充填材粒子2と、少なくとも充填材粒子を覆い、充填材粒子同士を結着させるバインダー樹脂3と、充填材粒子の間に存在し、バインダー樹脂と異なる樹脂からなる発泡性樹脂5とを含む。パネル部材の製造方法は、複数の充填材粒子と液状樹脂3aとを混合する混合工程と、混合工程で得られた混合物に発泡性樹脂前駆体5aを添加する添加工程と、添加工程で得られた混合材20を加熱する加熱工程とを有する。加熱工程では、発泡性樹脂前駆体を発泡させた後に液状樹脂を硬化させる。【選択図】図2
