PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking device replacing method and a replacing type mechanical parking device, which enable an existing vertical circulation type mechanical parking device to be relatively easily renewed as a new mechanical parking device without extensive structure modification.SOLUTION: An existing drive part receiving part which suspends the main components in an existing vertical circulation type mechanical parking device, or drive part receiving parts 2A, 2B disposed at the same position receives loads of lifting guide rails 10A, 10B and suspending columns 11A, 11B. Mechanical parking device comprises: multiple parking space formation device, which is fixed to the lifting guide rails 10A to 10D and the suspending columns 11A, 11B and forms multiple parking spaces in lifting direction; a lifting device capable of moving up and down along the lifting guide rails 10A to 10D; pallets 21A to 21N disposed on the lifting device; and a delivery and receipt device, which delivers and receives pallets 21A to 21N or pallets 21A to 21N mounted with parking vehicles between the lifting device and the parking storage space formation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】従来の垂直循環式機械駐車装置を大掛かりの構造変更を行うことなく、比較的容易に新たな機械駐車装置として更新することができるようにした機械駐車装置リプレース方法およびリプレース型機械駐車装置を提供する。【解決手段】既存の垂直循環式機械駐車装置で主要構成要素を吊り下げていた既存の駆動部受部または同じ位置に配置した駆動部受部２Ａ，２Ｂで、昇降ガイドレール１０Ａ，１０Ｂおよび吊柱１１Ａ，１１Ｂの荷重を受けるように吊り構造とし、昇降ガイドレール１０Ａ〜１０Ｄおよび吊柱１１Ａ，１１Ｂに固定されて昇降方向に複数段の駐車格納スペースを形成する複数段の駐車格納スペース形成装置と、昇降ガイドレール１０Ａ〜１０Ｄに沿って昇降移動可能な昇降装置と、昇降装置に載せたパレット２１Ａ〜２１Ｎと、パレット２１Ａ〜２１Ｎまたは駐車車両を搭載した状態のパレット２１Ａ〜２１Ｎを昇降装置と駐車格納スペース形成装置間で受け渡しする受け渡し装置を構成した。【選択図】図６
