    To provide a sealing material which is exposed to laser beams through a substrate of glass or the like for sealing, capable of reducing the thermal stress caused by exposure to laser beams, so that occurrence of cracks in the substrate can be inhibited, and to provide a method for producing joined body using the same.SOLUTION: A sealing material comprises an inorganic powder which is softened and fluidized by heating and a fluorescent powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
