To provide a handrail that enables design to be improved by making a brace hard to be seen from outside of a building.SOLUTION: A handrail HR comprises: a brace 20 erected on a building unit 1A; a lower frame 30 fixed on a support frame 60; an upper frame 40 which is disposed above the lower frame 30 so as to be spaced from the lower frame 30, and is fixed to building units 1E, 1G and the brace 20; and multiple panel units 50 which are vertically sandwiched between the lower frame 30 and the upper frame 40 and extend along extending direction of both the frames 30, 40. The lower frame 30 has a lower sandwiching groove 36 as a lower groove part into which a lower end of the panel unit 50 is fitted. The upper frame 40 has an upper sandwiching groove 41b as an upper groove part into which an upper end of the panel unit 50 is fitted. The panel unit 50 has a stile 51a as a muntin. 【課題】支柱が建物外方から見えにくくし意匠性を向上可能な手摺を提供すること。【解決手段】建物ユニット１Ａに立設された支柱２０と、支持フレーム６０に固定された下枠３０と、下枠３０の上方位置に下枠３０と間隔を開けて配置され、建物ユニット１Ｅ、１Ｇと支柱２０とに固定された上枠４０と、下枠３０と上枠４０とに上下を挟まれ、両枠３０，４０の延在方向に沿って延在された複数のパネルユニット５０と、を備え、下枠３０は、パネルユニット５０の下端部が嵌め込まれた下溝部としての下部挟持溝３６を有するとともに、上枠４０は、パネルユニット５０の上端部が嵌め込まれた上溝部としての上部挟持溝４１ｂを有し、パネルユニット５０は、縦桟としての縦框５１ａを有し、支柱２０は、縦框５１ａの裏に配置されている手摺ＨＲとした。【選択図】図４
