To provide a slide pendulum type base isolation device capable of performing dustproof measures even in a case where a dustproof cover cannot be installed.SOLUTION: A slide pendulum type base isolation device 1 comprises: a concave surface plate 10 having a lower slide surface 4 with a center of curvature positioned above, and fixed to a lower structure 2; a concave surface plate 10 having an upper slide surface 5 with a center of curvature positioned below, and fixed to an upper structure 3; a slide body 6 supporting the upper slide surface 5 on the lower slide surface 4; and a closing member 9 closing a gap between the lower side surface 4 and a peripheral end edge 7 of the upper slide surface 5. The closing member 9 has an open hole 19 supporting the slide body 6 in a horizontal direction, and is composed of sponge rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
