To provide a construction method of a tank which can further shorten construction period, and a tank.SOLUTION: A construction method of a double shell structure tank comprises: a first inner tank construction step of constructing a first structure 9a except the bottom of an inner tank by alternately repeating lifting an inner tank side plate 9 by a jack-up device 19 and attaching a next inner tank side plate 9 to a lower side of the lifted inner tank side plate 9 at an inside of an outer tank 2; a second inner tank construction step of constructing a second structure 9b that is the bottom of the inner tank on an annular portion 13 for supporting the inner tank provided in a bottom portion of the outer tank 2; and a third inner tank construction step of connecting the first structure 9a with the second structure 9b to construct the inner tank. The first inner tank construction step and the second inner tank construction step are performed in parallel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】工期のさらなる短縮化を図ることのできるタンクの構築方法及びタンクの提供。【解決手段】二重殻構造のタンクの構築方法であって、外槽２の内側において、ジャッキアップ装置１９による内槽側板９の上昇と、上昇した内槽側板９の下側への次の内槽側板９の取り付けと、を交互に繰り返し、内槽の最下段を除く第１の構造物９ａを組み立てる第１内槽構築工程と、外槽２の底部に設けられた内槽を支持するためのアニュラー部１３の上に、内槽の最下段である第２の構造物９ｂを組み立てる第２内槽構築工程と、第１の構造物９ａと第２の構造物９ｂとを接合し、内槽を組み立てる第３内槽構築工程と、を有しており、第１内槽構築工程と第２内槽構築工程とを、並行して行う、という手法を採用する。【選択図】図３
