To provide a ground improvement mat foundation method suitable for ground freezing countermeasures in cold regions that can block water outside the ground improvement section from entering inside through the ground improvement section.SOLUTION: The present invention has the steps of excavating a trench groove 7 for constructing a ground improvement section having a predetermined width and a depth below freezing from the ground surface in the ground below a bottom plate portion 3, laying a required number of crushed stones on the bottom of the trench groove 7 to form a crushed stone portion 6 of a predetermined thickness, and forming a ground improvement portion 4 for mat foundation in which ground improvement is applied to the trench groove 7 above the crushed stone portion 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】地盤改良部の外側の水が地盤改良部を通って内側に入り込むことを遮断することができ、寒冷地における地盤凍結対策用として好適な地盤改良ベタ基礎工法を提供する。【解決手段】底板部３の下方となる地盤に所定幅で、かつ地表面から凍結深度以深の地盤改良部造成用のトレンチ溝７を掘削する工程と、トレンチ溝７の底面に所要数の砕石を敷設して所定厚さの砕石部６を形成する工程と、砕石部６の上方のトレンチ溝７に地盤改良を施したベタ基礎用地盤改良部４を形成する工程と、を有する。【選択図】図２
