To provide a water blocking device for enabling easy and efficient inspection of a rail joint gap portion.SOLUTION: A water blocking device 1 is disposed in a rail joint gap 22 of a seam portion 21 on an elevated road 2, and comprises a water blocking sheet 11 arranged in an elongated gutter shape by bending a rectangular sheet into a substantially U shape so as to hang down over the rail joint gap 22. The water blocking sheet 11 is formed with a linear opening 4 extending in the length direction of the gutter shape. A waterproof fastener 5 closed in a watertight manner is provided in the opening 4 in the length direction of the opening 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】遊間部分の点検作業を容易に且つ効率よく行えるようにするための止水装置を提供する。【解決手段】止水装置１は、高架道路２における継目部２１の遊間２２に配設されるものであって、遊間２２に跨って垂下するように長方形シートを略Ｕ字状に撓ませて長尺の樋形に配設されている止水シート１１を備える。止水シート１１には、樋形の長さ方向に延びるライン状の開口部４が形成され、この開口部４には水密に閉塞させる防水ファスナー５が開口部４の長さ方向に沿って設けられている。【選択図】図１
