To provide a pile driver including a swing suppressing member capable of effectively suppressing the vibration of a steel pipe pile and improving the verticality while having a simple structure.SOLUTION: In a swing suppressing member 26, a first connecting portion 43d and a second connecting portion 44d for connecting rotating ends of a first rotating arm and a second rotating arm to the rotating ends of the first rotating arm 43 and the second rotating arm 44 are provided. The first rotating arm and the second rotating arm are configured to be openable and closable between a closed state in which the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are connected by a connecting pin 45 to hold a steel pipe pile 38, and an open state in which the connecting pin is removed and the first rotating arm and the second rotating arm are opened. In the closed state, a spacer member 47 that closes an opening 46 formed between a first inner arcuate recess 43b and a second inner arcuate recess 44b on a base side of the first rotating arm and the second rotating arm is detachably provided between the first rotating arm and the second rotating arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
