GUARD CABLE
To provide a guard cable which makes it easy to collect the scattered members at the time of accident such as collisions.SOLUTION: In a guard cable in which a plurality of cables is extended between poles, a spacer which is attached to the pole to separate the cables from each other is formed in a flat shape, and bright portions having one of light reflectivity or luminescent property are provided on each of the outer surface on both sides in the thickness direction of the spacer. The spacer is formed in a flat shape having the size in the width direction larger than that in the thickness direction, so that the spacer which is detached from the pole due to collision by a vehicle and falls on a road surface is easily to be in a state in which its thickness direction is directed vertically. Then, since bright portions having one of light reflectivity or luminescent property are provided on each of the outer surface on both sides in the thickness direction of said spacer, the bright portions are directed upward so that the fallen spacer becomes easier to be visibly recognized and thus can be collected easily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】接触などの事故時に、散乱した部材を容易に回収できるガードケーブルを提供する。【解決手段】支柱間に複数のケーブルを架設させるガードケーブルにおいて、支柱に取り付けて各ケーブルを離間させるためのスペーサーを扁平形状に形成すると共に、スペーサーの厚み方向両側の各外面に光の反射性および発光性のいずれか一方を有する光輝部をそれぞれ設ける。スペーサーを、幅方向の大きさが厚み方向より大きな扁平形状に形成するので、車両などが接触する等して支柱から脱離し路面などに落下したスペーサーは、厚み方向を上下に向けた状態になりやすい。そして、光の反射性および発光性のいずれか一方を有する光輝部を、前記スペーサーの厚み方向両側の各外面にそれぞれ設けるので、光輝部が上方へ向けられて落下したスペーサー視認しやすくなされ、より容易に回収することができる。【選択図】 図４
