To provide a banking soil reinforcement method and a banking soil reinforcement member applicable for various of banking soil member using a banking soil reinforcement member with high pull-out resistance performance.SOLUTION: For a banking soil reinforcement method installing a banking soil reinforcement member 100 in banking soil, the banking soil reinforcement member 100 comprises a plurality of vertical members 10 and a plurality of lateral members 20 connected in a grating pattern via the plurality of the vertical members 10 and opening joint members 31 to form an annular part respectively by passing an endless part of the vertical member 10 through an opening of the opening joint member 31 using the vertical member 10 as well as to be installed in the banking soil by inserting the lateral members 20 in the annular part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
