To achieve life prolongation for an electrically driven rear gate for vehicle by correcting the fully opened position when a minor drop of the electric rear gate that does not require replacement of machine parts occurs.SOLUTION: A control device (rear gate control unit 30) for an electric rear gate for vehicle includes a motor control unit 32 that controls a motor 11 driving the elongation of at least one of left and right support parts supporting the electric rear gate for vehicle; a position detecting sensor determination unit 33 that determines the left and right positions representing the opening angle of the electric rear gate for vehicle; a gate fully-opened position storage unit 36 in which an opening angle when the electric rear gate for vehicle is fully opened is stored; a gate drop determination unit 35 that determines whether or not at least one of the left and right positions has dropped when the motor control unit stops control of the motor. When the gate drop determination unit determines that the opening angle of the electric rear gate for vehicle has dropped by a degree less than a predetermined range, the control device updates the opening angle stored in the gate fully-opened position storage unit to an opening angle after dropping. When it is determined that the opening angle of the electric rear gate for vehicle has dropped by a degree equal to or more than the predetermined range, the control device performs a notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 車両用電動リアゲートの機械部品の交換の必要のない軽微な下降の場合の全開位置を補正して延命化を図る。【解決手段】 車両用電動リアゲートの制御装置（リアゲート制御ユニット３０）は、車両用電動リアゲートを支える左右の支持部の少なくとも一方の支持部の伸長を駆動するモータ１１を制御するモータ制御部３２と、車両用電動リアゲートの開度を表す左右の位置を判定する位置検出センサ判定部３３と、車両用電動リアゲートが全開したときの開度が記憶されるゲート全開位置記憶部３６と、モータ制御部によりモータの制御が停止されるときに、左右の位置の少なくとも一方の位置が下降しているか否かを判定するゲート下降判定部３５と、を備え、ゲート下降判定部によって車両用電動リアゲートの開度が所定範囲未満の下降であると判定された場合に、ゲート全開位置記憶部に記憶された開度を下降したときの開度に更新し、所定範囲以上の下降であると判定された場合に報知を実行する。【選択図】 図１
