To provide a mat made of a rubber chip configured such that edges of the mats made of rubber chip can be placed to be butted to each other without steps when four pieces of the mats made of rubber chip having a predetermined size are placed in an optional place such as walk surface, anti-grass surface, and simply paved surface.SOLUTION: Four pieces of mats made of rubber chips 1A to 1D are arrayed in any direction and placed such that adjacent mats 1 made of rubber chips become two sides. A first placement edge part 4a of the first mat 1A and a second placement edge part 4b of the third mat 1C on a diagonal line are butted, and placed so as to be at the height with a projection step 3a, a pair of the second mat 1B and the fourth mat 1D placed by turning back and positioned on a diagonal line are also placed in a similar manner, and are placed to be the height with a mat body 2 at a portion where these edge parts 4 are superposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】歩行面、防草面、簡易舗装面等の任意の場所に所定の大きさのゴムチップ製マットの４枚を前後左右方向に敷設する場合に、ゴムチップ製マットのエッジ部同士を、段差なく互いに突き合わさるように敷設できるようにする。【解決手段】４枚のゴムチップ製マット１Ａ〜１Ｄを前後左右に並べ、隣接するゴムチップ製マット１を裏表になるように敷設するものである。１組の対角線上の一方の第１マット１Ａの第１敷詰エッジ部４ａと、他方の第３マット１Ｃの第２敷詰エッジ部４ｂとを突き合わせて突出段部３ａと面一の高さになるように敷設し、裏返して敷設される対角線上に位置する別組の一対の第２マット１Ｂと第４マット１Ｄも同様に敷設し、これらのエッジ部４が重なる部分でマット本体部２と面一に敷設されるようにする。【選択図】図２
