To provide a pile driver having an inclination detection part which can improve the detection accuracy of the verticality of a pile without lowering the efficiency of piling work.SOLUTION: An inclination detection part 44 for detecting an inclination of a steel pipe pile 35 is arranged at a vibration stopper member 26 for bracing the steel pipe pile 35 which is rotationally driven by a working device. The inclination detection part 44 has a guide member 45 which is elastically supported to an external peripheral face of the steel pipe pile 35 so as to be capable of abutting thereon, and an inclination sensor 46 attached to the guide member 45. The guide member 45 also comprises a plurality of ball rollers 49 which are arranged apart from each other in a vertical direction and a longitudinal direction, and a coil spring 48 for holding the plurality of ball rollers 49 in a state of abutting on the external peripheral face of the steel pipe pile 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
