To provide a shading device which makes it possible to easily carry out the lifting operation of screens arranged side-by-side in the window depth direction.SOLUTION: A shading device, which makes it possible to raise/lower a first screen 5a and a second screen 5b arranged side-by-side in the window depth direction, includes: a sprocket for raising/lowering a first weight bar 6 located at the lower end of the first screen 5a by operating an operating cord 12; and a conjunction 16 associating the first weight bar 6 with a second weight bar 7 arranged at the lower end of the second screen 5b so as to cause the raising/lowering movement of the second wight bar 7 to be in conjunction with the raising/lowering movement of the first weight bar 6.
