To improve the thermal shock resistance and oxidation resistance of a sliding-gate type plate refractory.SOLUTION: A sliding-gate type plate refractory has a composition comprising needle coke by 0.1 to 10 mass% in outer percentage to 100 mass% of refractory raw material. In addition to the needle coke, one or more kinds of carbon raw material selected from the group consisting of carbon black, graphite and coal tar pitch may be included by 10 mass% or lower in outer percentage. The refractory raw material has a composition comprising alumina raw material by 50 to 90 mass%, alumina zirconia raw material by 30 mass% or lower, and zirconia mullite raw material by 20 mass% or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】スライディング・ゲート型プレート耐火物の耐熱衝撃性と耐酸化性を向上させる。【解決手段】耐火原料１００質量％に対し、ニードルコークスを外掛け０．１〜１０質量％含有する組成とする。上記ニードルコークスに加えて、カーボンブラック、黒鉛、コールタールピッチの群から選ばれる１種以上の炭素原料を外掛け10質量％以下含有させてもよい。前記耐火原料は、アルミナ原料を50〜90質量％、アルミナジルコニア原料を30質量％以下、ジルコニアムライト原料を20質量％以下含有する組成とする。【選択図】なし
