To further properly improve the performance of a sound absorption/insulation member which is formed of a cellulosic fiber.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a sound absorption/insulation material includes a first process for laminating cellulosic fibers on a net material 62 while sucking a liquid of an undiluted solution through the net material 62 from a liquid suction part 63 with a molding mold 60 set in a state of being immersed in the liquid undiluted solution containing the cellulosic fibers, and a second process for forming a protrusion 15 by drying the cellulosic fibers which are laminated on the net material 62, and forming a contour of a communication part 30 by drying the cellulosic fibers which are laminated on a recessed region 70. The inside and outside of the protrusion 15 are made to communicate with each other by a communication path 32 of the communication part 30 formed of an arrangement trace of a salient part 72 by removing the dried protrusion 15 and the communication part 30 from the molding mold 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
