To provide an external heat insulation structure having a high heat insulation capacity and a high durability.SOLUTION: An external heat insulation structure in a wet type for a wooden construction comprises a wooden pillar and/or a stud and/or a beam, a heat insulation material arranged at an external wall side of the wooden pillar and/or the stud, a polymer cement mortar arranged at the external wall side of the heat insulation material, and a tile arranged at the external wall side of the polymer cement mortar. The heat insulation material comprises an inorganic material, and the polymer cement mortar and the tile are attached via an adhesive agent containing an organic material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
