To provide an underwater work tool which can be easily handled with a simple configuration, and can perform an underwater work such as removal of water plants and the like with less labor workload.SOLUTION: A water plants removing tool 100 as an underwater work tool includes: a reaping part 10 as a work part for performing a predefined work under water; a route guiding part 20 for guiding the reaping part 10 in a route direction; a connection part 30 for connecting the reaping part 10 and the route guiding part 20; and an underwater sail 50 for obtaining a driving force by receiving water flow. The route guiding part 20 is configured of a longitudinal non-flexible member, and the connection part 30 is configured of a flexible member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
