BREAK FILTER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
To provide a break filter which uniformizes blowout of gas from a filter face, restrains stirring up of particles, improves corrosion resistance of a stainless casing holding a filter element, and can install the filter element to the casing easily at high accuracy, and to provide a production method for the filter.SOLUTION: A break filter 1 comprises: a platy filter element 2 comprising a silicon carbide porous body; a stainless casing 3 covering one face of the filter element and having a gas introduction port for introducing a gas to one face side; and a stainless ring 6 holding the peripheral part of the other face of the filter element and fitting to the stainless casing. Besides, a space S having a height of 0.4 mm or more and of 10% or more of the thickness in the above filter element is formed between one face of the filter element 2 and the gas introduction port 3c of the stainless casing 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】フィルタ面からのガス吹き出しを均一とし、パーティクル舞い上がりを抑制し、またフィルタエレメントを保持するステンレスケーシングの耐食性を向上させ、更にはフィルタエレメントをケーシングに、精度良く、かつ容易に取り付けることができるブレイクフィルタおよびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】このブレイクフィルタ１は、炭化珪素質多孔体からなる板状のフィルタエレメント２と、フィルタエレメントの一方の面を覆うとともに、該一方の面側にガスを導入するためのガス導入口を有するステンレスケーシング３と、フィルタエレメントの他方の面の周縁部を保持するとともにステンレスケーシングに嵌合するステンレスリング６と、を備え、フィルタエレメント２の一方の面とステンレスケーシング３のガス導入口３ｃとの間には、０．４ｍｍ以上かつ前記フィルタエレメントの厚さの１０％以上の高さを有する空間Ｓが形成されている。【選択図】図１
