To provide a light-blocking mechanism capable of effectively blocking light from a side edge of a light-blocking screen hung at an opening frame of a building by a hoisting/lowering mechanism.SOLUTION: A light-blocking screen device where a light-blocking screen 10 with an upper end attached to a head box 11 and a lower edge to which a movable bar 12 is attached is hung to be hoisted/lowered by a hoisting/lowering mechanism is configured in a manner that, along an inside surface of a screen frame 15 with both ends of each roll part 10a of the light-blocking screen facing each other, a light-blocking rail member 25 provided with a groove part 25a for housing a light-blocking member 30 having a light-blocking surface 31a contacting to or separated from an opening end surface of the roll part is vertically provided, from which the light-blocking member is hung. In the light-blocking member, an upper end is held at a position where the upper end abuts on an upper end of the light-blocking screen, and a lower part is tilted by a pusher 12a provided on the movable bar according to an up-and-down movement of the movable bar and pushes the light-blocking member to the roll part of the light-blocking screen when the movable bar reaches at the lowest end of the screen frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】建物開口部枠に昇降機構により吊下した遮光スクリーンの側端の遮光を効果的に行うことが可能な遮光機構を提供する。【解決手段】上端をヘッドボックス１１に取り付け、下端に可動桟１２を取り付けた遮光スクリーン１０を昇降機構により昇降可能に吊下した遮光スクリーン装置を、該遮光スクリーンの各筒状部１０ａの両端部が対面するスクリーン枠１５の内側面に沿って、該筒状部の開口端面に接離する遮光面３１ａをもつ遮光部材３０を収容するための溝状部２５ａを備えた遮光レール部材２５を縦設し、そこに該遮光部材を吊下することによって構成する。該遮光部材は、その上端部が遮光スクリーンの上端部に接する部位に保持され、下部は可動桟の昇降に伴って該可動桟に設けた押圧子１２ａにより傾動し、可動桟がスクリーン枠の最下端に達したときに、遮光部材を遮光スクリーンの筒状部に押し付ける。【選択図】図１
