To achieve improvement of a damping performance of a vibration control member.SOLUTION: A vibration control member 10 includes: a first metal plate 24 connected to a basement 14; a second metal plate 26 connected to a beam 18; and a rubber plate 28 which connects the first metal plate 24 with the second metal plate 26 to damp vibration. In a state that the vibration control member 10 is attached to a building 12, compared with a free state that the vibration control member 10 is not attached to the building 12, the rubber plate 28 deforms in a direction different from a vibration control direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
