To provide a rolling shutter winder that can enhance the work efficiency for installation and enables miniaturization and weight saving.SOLUTION: A rolling shutter winder 10 is attached onto a U-letter shape part 6a on the bottom end of a loop-like chain 6 and endlessly moves the chain 6 to rotate the rotational shaft of the opening and closing machine of the manual type rotational shutter and wind up the rolling shutter. The rolling shutter winder includes: guiding members 12, 12 that are respectively provided and attached on the sides of the U-letter shape part 6a of the chain 6 so that the sides of the U-letter shape part 6a are movable; a rotation member 11 that is rotatably attached to each of the guiding members 12, 12 and is provided inside the U-letter shape part 6a of the chain 6 and endlessly moves the chain 6; and a wheel-in motor 13 that is a rotary driving member that rotary-drives the rotation member 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
