To provide a fuel battery cell and a high-temperature steam electrolysis cell which enable the prevention of gas leak.SOLUTION: A fuel battery cell 101 according to the present invention comprises: a power-generating unit 105; a non-power-generating unit 110 not including the power-generating unit 105; and a gas-seal film 117 arranged so as to cover a surface of the non-power-generating unit and having an oxygen ion insulating property. The gas-seal film is composed of a structure produced by baking a material containing MTiO(M: an alkali-earth metal element) and a metal oxide. The structure includes a first structure and a second structure which are different in composition. The first structure contains more MTiO-originating components than the second structure. The second structure contains more metal elements included in the metal oxide than the first structure. In the structure, the areal percentage of the second structure may be 1% or more and 50% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ガスリークを防止できる燃料電池セルおよび高温水蒸気電解セルの提供を目的とする。【解決手段】本発明に係る燃料電池セル101は、発電部105と、発電部105を含まない非発電部110と、非発電部の表面を覆うよう配置された酸素イオン絶縁性のガスシール膜117と、を含み、ガスシール膜は、MTiO3(M:アルカリ土類金属元素)と、金属酸化物と、を含む材料が焼成されてなる組織で構成されている。該組織は、組成の異なる第1組織及び第2組織を含み、第1組織は、第2組織よりもMTiO3由来成分を多く含み、第2組織は、第1組織よりも金属酸化物に含まれる金属元素を多く含み、組織における第2組織の面積率が1%以上50%以下であるとよい。【選択図】図1
