DOUBLE GLAZING
To solve problems about a double glazing currently in widespread use, in which (a) skilled personnel is required or (b) an expensive automated device is required, for secondary seal injection, and (c) a space is required for temporary storage until a secondary sealant is cured by curing for a predetermined time after the secondary seal injection.SOLUTION: A double glazing that does not require a secondary sealant, has high durability, and is easy to handle is obtained by arranging a spacer containing a desiccant between a first plate glass and a second plate glass, and arranging a back surface thereof substantially flush with a cut surface of the first plate glass and the second plate glass, covering an outer surface of an end portion and the cut surface of the first plate glass, the back surface of the spacer, and the cut surface and an outer surface of an end portion of the second plate glass with double-sided adhesive tape, and adhering a U-shaped frame to an outer surface of the double-sided adhesive tape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】現在普及している複層ガラスでは、（ａ）二次シール注入に熟練した者を要するか、又は（ｂ）高価な自動化設備を必要とし、かつ（ｃ）二次シール注入後に所定の時間養生して二次シール剤が硬化するまで仮置きするためのスペースが必要である、などの問題点が存在する。【解決手段】乾燥剤を含むスペーサーを第一の板ガラスと第二の板ガラスの間に、その背面が第一の板ガラスと第二の板ガラスのコバ面に対して略面一に配置し、第一の板ガラスの端部外側面、コバ面、前記スペーサーの背面、前記第二の板ガラスのコバ面及び端部外側面を両面接着テープで覆い、両面接着テープの外表面に当接してコの字型フレームを接着することにより、二次シール剤が不要であって、耐久性が高く、取り扱いもしやすい複層ガラスを得る。【選択図】図３
