To provide a manufacturing method of silicon carbide-containing ceramic product that contributes to improvement of production efficiency and uses a continuous furnace.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of silicon carbide-containing ceramic product includes a step of calcinating a molded article of a silicon carbide-containing green body by transporting from the inlet to the outlet within a continuous furnace, which is provided with an inlet, a heating zone, a cooling zone and an outlet in series and in which a furnace atmosphere in both the heating zone and the cooling zone is an inert gas atmosphere of oxygen concentration of 100 volume ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
