To provide a sludge scraping device that can always and stably activate a sludge scraper to surely scrape up sludge and can be configured simply and reduced in cost.SOLUTION: The sludge scraping device comprises machine bodies 13 in lengthy shapes that are configured to be able to move back and forth by placing wheels on a guide trajectory such as a guide rail 7 set at a position along a center in a basin width on a bottom wall 5 of a rectangle-shaped sedimentation basin 1. The machine bodies 13 comprise mounting bases 15, 16 and 17 arranged at a plurality of places and cylindrical machine body-main bodies 14 in lengthy shapes that connect the mounting bases to one another. On the mounting base is mounted and supported a sludge scraper 53 through a pair of right and left bearings 51 of vertically half-split-butting type through which a scraper shaft 50 can be passed. The sludge scraper 53 is configured so that a posture thereof can be switched into a scraping state and a returning state in interlock with movement in a longitudinal direction thereof by driving means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
