To provide a ball chain which enables a fail-safe function to be provided at a metallic ball chain.SOLUTION: A ball chain includes: metallic chain parts 9a in which metallic balls 16a are connected by a metallic link shaft 16b; and a resin chain part 9b connecting each end part 17, 18 of the metallic chain part 9a. The resin chain part 9b includes: a connection resin ball 21 which achieves a fail safe function; and resin link shaft parts 27 which are connected to the metallic balls 16a forming each end part 17, 18. The resin link shaft part 27 includes a removal prevention part 27a engaged with a through hole 16d of the metallic ball 16a. The removal prevention part 27a is a mold part in which a diameter is expanded by thermal caulking.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
