To provide a ball chain capable of providing a fail-safe function even to a metal ball chain.SOLUTION: In a ball chain 16 where a plurality of metal balls 16a is connected by a metal link shaft 16b, a first end part 17 and a second end part 18 are connected by a connection part 21. The connection part 21 comprises a first connector 22a that constitutes the first end part 17, a second connector 22b that constitutes the second end part 18, and a connection member 23 that connects the first connector 22a and the second connector 22b. When tensile force that exceeds tensile force during normal operation acts on the ball chain, at least, the first connector 22a or the second connector 22b is disconnected from the connection member 23. Each connector comprises a link shaft 26 and a resin fitting part 27, and the link shaft 26 comprises an integrated part that integrates a metal shaft part 26a with the resin fitting part 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
