To provide a sound absorber having a large degree of freedom in sound absorbency and a manufacturing method of a sound absorber with easy work relating to the manufacture.SOLUTION: The sound absorber 10 includes a substrate layer 11 of a melamine resin foam and a surface skin layer 12 of a nonwoven fabric, laminated on the substrate layer 11, wherein a ventilation adjustment part 13 for adjustment of ventilation resistance of the sound absorber 10 is provided between the substrate layer 11 and the surface skin layer 12, and the ventilation adjustment part 13 is formed dot-like with a hot-melt adhesive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 吸音性能の自由度が大きい吸音材を提供するとともに、製造に係る作業が容易な吸音材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 吸音材１０は、メラミンフォームからなる基材層１１と、上記基材層１１に積層された不織布からなる表皮層１２と、を有し、上記基材層１１と、上記表皮層１２との間には、上記吸音材１０の通気抵抗を調整するための通気調整部１３が設けられており、上記通気調整部１３は、ホットメルト接着剤によって斑点状に形成されている。【選択図】 図１
