INTAKE/EXHAUST VALVE AND DRAIN HOPPER
To provide an intake/exhaust valve and a drain hopper that have excellent intake performance.SOLUTION: An intake/exhaust valve 1 is arranged in an apex T of a rise pipe SP in a water supply pipe of a direct-coupled water supply type. The intake/exhaust valve comprises an intake/exhaust port 5 for taking in and exhausting air and draining water in the rise pipe SP, a horizontally laying piping 6 connected with the intake/exhaust port 5 and extending from the intake/exhaust port 5 in a nearly horizontal direction, and a drain hopper 7 connected with the horizontally laying piping 6. The drain hopper 7 is formed of a wall part 72 that has in a part an opposed wall part 71 formed to be apart from the end of the horizontally laying piping 6 with a prescribed distance and to face the horizontally laying piping 6, and a vent hole 73 for air intake and exhaust is installed in the wall part 72 excluding the opposed wall part 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
