To provide a radioactive waste solidification method or the like capable of efficiently performing solidification treatment.SOLUTION: In a method for solidifying radioactive waste according to an embodiment, a kneaded material forming step is provided, and the radioactive waste containing an ion exchange resin is solidified and processed. In the kneaded material forming step, the kneaded material is formed by kneading the radioactive waste, a hydraulic inorganic solidifying material, a water reducing agent and kneading water. The water reducing agent is a naphthalenesulfonic acid system. In the kneaded material forming step, 0.6 parts by weight or more of the water reducing agent is added to 100 parts by weight of the hydraulic inorganic solidifying material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
