RAIL BOND
To provide a rail bond in which a conductor between rail bond terminals is prevented from being vibrated in relative to a rail due to passage of a railway vehicle, and in which therefore progress of crack or peeling generated in a part of the rail bond or in a gap between a rail and the rail bond can be effectively prevented.SOLUTION: A rail bond 1 is provided that is mounted to a joint of a rail 5 and comprises: a conductor 2 which electrically connects the rails to each other; and a terminal member 3 to which each end of the conductor is mounted and which electrically connects the conductor and the rail. The conductor 2 comprises: a first portion 2a which is inserted into a cylinder portion 3B formed in the terminal member 3 to be thereby connected to the cylinder portion 3B; a second portion 2b which is continuous with the first portion and has a length reaching lower neck portions of the rails or upper faces of bottoms of the rails; and a third portion 2c which is bent at right angle with respect to the second portion and disposed along the lower neck portions of the rails or the upper faces of the bottoms of the rails and in contact, in a rail length direction, with the rails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
