To provide a decorative column mounting structure that can solve problems such as a difference in floor height of each floor, an inclination angle of a floor surface, the construction of surface finishing materials such as anti-slip vinyl floor sheets, and damage caused by cleaning as a measure to install a decorative column in front of the entrance of each dwelling unit of an apartment house, etc. and that enables installation work to be conducted easily in a short time.SOLUTION: The mounting structure includes: a ceiling fixing portion 1 fixed to a ceiling C and connected to an upper part of a decorative column P; and a ceiling connecting portion 2 located on the upper part of the decorative column P and slidable in the vertical direction and detachable from the ceiling fixing portion 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
