SHEAR TIE SYSTEM FOR VENTILATION TYPE ROOF RIDGE
To provide a roof system having a shear tie for a ridge beam and a ridge vent hole for ventilation.SOLUTION: A roof board 18 is situated on a rafter 14, a gap or slot 20 is provided between an upper end of the roof board 18 and a ridge beam 16 and the gap or slot 20 extends across a most part of the ridge beam 16 to provide an air channel for ventilation of a building. A shear tie strap 30 is coupled to the ridge beam 16, and to the roof board 18 at at least one side of the ridge beam 16. A system 10 is used in relation with a roof with tiles having the ridge vent hole for ventilation as well, and also can be used in other roof systems.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】棟木用のせん断タイを含み、換気用棟通気口を備えた屋根システムを提供する。【解決手段】野地板１８は垂木１４上に位置し、間隙またはスロット２０が、野地板１８の上端部と棟木１６との間に設けられ、間隙またはスロット２０は、建物の通気用の空気流路を提供するために、棟木１６の大部分に沿って広がる。せん断タイストラップ３０は、棟木１６に、および棟木１６の少なくともいずれか一方の側で野地板１８に、連結される。このシステム１０は、換気用棟通気口も提供される瓦葺屋根に関連して使用されるが、他の屋根システムで使用することもできる。【選択図】図１
