To provide an automatic drain cock capable of reliably moving a valve element between a closing position to close a drain port and an opening position to open the drain port.SOLUTION: An automatic drain cock 15 includes a valve element 101, a transmission mechanism 102, a stepping motor 103, and a controller 104. The transmission mechanism transmits the movement to the valve element. The stepping motor moves the transmission mechanism to the movable end to move the valve element between the closing position to close the drain port and the opening position to open the drain port. The controller controls the stepping motor to be out of step when the transmission mechanism is moved to the movable end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
