To provide a drain cock replacement auxiliary tool that can replace a drain cock without closing a main open/close valve and without splashing tap water substantially in the surrounding area.SOLUTION: There is provided a drain cock replacement auxiliary tool, wherein a drain cock is connected to a spindle holding hole of a faucet body, a detachable passage through which the drain cock can pass is formed, and an auxiliary tool main body having a valve body for opening and closing the detachable passage is attached to the faucet main body. With the valve body opening the detachable passage, the valve body closes the detachable passage after the drain cock is pulled out to a position where it passes through the valve body portion. Then, a new drain cock is positioned in the detachable passage. The drain cock can be replaced in a state where tap water hardly flows out from the spindle holding hole 56 by attaching the new drain cock by advancing it from the detachable passage to the spindle holding hole after moving the valve body to a valve open position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明の基本的目的は、主開閉弁を閉じることなく、かつ、周囲に実質的に水道水を飛散させることなくケレップを交換できるケレップ交換補助具を提供することである。【解決手段】蛇口本体のスピンドル保持孔に連なると共に、ケレップが通過可能な脱着通路が形成され、かつ当該脱着通路を開閉する弁体を有する補助具本体を蛇口本体に取り付ける。弁体が脱着通路を開いた状態において、ケレップを弁体部を通過する位置まで引き出した後、弁体によって脱着通路を閉じる。この後、新ケレップを脱着通路に位置させる。弁体を開弁位置へ移動させた後、新ケレップを脱着通路からスピンドル保持孔へ進行させて装着することにより、スピンドル保持孔56からの水道水の流出がほとんど無い状態でケレップの交換をすることができる。【選択図】 図１
