To synchronize the operation of a plurality of solar radiation shielding devices.SOLUTION: A main solar radiation shielding device 10 includes a control unit 150 of a solar radiation shielding system 1 that has the following functions. The control unit 150 has an operation reception unit 151 that receives operations to the main solar radiation shielding device 10 and a secondary solar radiation shielding device 20. In addition, the control unit 150 has a main operation control unit 152 that generates main operation control information that controls the operation of the main solar radiation shielding device 10 in response to the operation accepted by the operation reception unit 151 and sub-operation instruction information that instructs the operation of the secondary solar radiation shielding device 20. Further, the controller 150 also has an instruction information output unit 153 that outputs the secondary operation instruction information generated by the main operation control unit.
