To provide a solar radiation shielding device capable of effectively suppressing the amount of solar radiation reaching the inside of a room without impairing visibility from the inside of a building.SOLUTION: A solar radiation shielding device 1 which covers at least a part of an opening 5 of a building 2 to shield solar radiation light traveling toward the interior of the building includes: an inner light-shielding plate 10 disposed outside the opening 5; and an outer light-shielding plate 20 disposed outside the inner light-shielding plate with a clearance d1 from the inner light-shielding plate. The outer light-shielding plate 20 has a plurality of outer through holes 21, the inner light-shielding plate 10 has a plurality of inner through holes 11 smaller than the outer through holes, and the inner through holes 11 are formed inside the outer through holes 21 when viewed from a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
