To provide an obstacle detection device for a construction vehicle for improving operability of the construction vehicle.SOLUTION: An obstacle detection device 1 is mounted on a construction vehicle and detects an obstacle G. The obstacle detection device includes an arithmetic control device 50 including: a trigger detection unit 51 that detects a change trigger that becomes a trigger for changing an obstacle detection range in a vehicle width direction of the construction vehicle; and a change unit 52 that changes a standard detection range to a predetermined change detection range which is an obstacle detection range at the time of change, when the change trigger is detected while operating in the standard detection range which is an obstacle detection range at the time of standard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
