OBSTACLE DETECTION DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE
To provide an obstacle detection device for a construction vehicle capable of easily setting a desired detection range while achieving a reduction in cost.SOLUTION: An obstacle detection device 1 mounted on a construction vehicle comprises: a TOF type distance image sensor 2 configured to measure a distance on the basis of a time difference between projected light and reflected light; and a control unit configured to determine presence/absence of an obstacle G on the basis of data measured by the distance image sensor 2. The distance image sensor 2 is disposed so that a beam of light is projected downward at an angle with respect to a travelling direction of the vehicle. The control unit is configured to determine presence/absence of the obstacle G in a detection range 4 of a an approximately rectangular shape in a plan view which has a width dimension L1 substantially identical to a vehicle width dimension in a range of the projection light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】コストの低減を図れるとともに、所望の検知範囲に容易に設定できる建設車両の障害物検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】建設車両に搭載される障害物検知装置1であって、投射光と反射光との時間差から距離を測定するTOF方式の距離画像センサ2と、距離画像センサ2の測定データに基づいて障害物Gの有無を判定する制御装置と、を備える。距離画像センサ2は、投射光が車両の進行方向斜め下に向けて投射されるように設けられ、制御装置は、投射光の範囲のうちで車幅寸法と略同じ幅寸法L1を有する平面視略矩形状の検知範囲4について、障害物Gの有無を判定する。【選択図】図1
