To provide a bamboo material having flame retardancy, a bamboo product, and a method for producing the bamboo material.SOLUTION: A bamboo material 10 is formed by processing raw bamboo collected from a forest or bushes, and consists of a bamboo material body 12 having a rear surface 14 formed by cutting in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the raw bamboo, and a slit (conduction hole) 20 conducting to a vascular bundle from the rear surface 14; the vascular bundle is impregnated with a treatment liquid having one or more of sodium polyborate, ammonium phosphate, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, diammonium hydrogen phosphate or the like from the slit 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
