To provide an electromagnetic wave blocking system capable of selectively transmitting or blocking electromagnetic waves having a target frequency.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave blocking system 100 comprises: an electromagnetic wave blocking material 36 that controls transmission or blocking of electromagnetic waves and is composed of non-linear resistance members 21, 22, 23 whose resistance values reduce non-linearly as applied voltage rises; and a power supply 30 for applying DC voltage to the electromagnetic wave blocking material 36. The electromagnetic wave blocking material 36 comprises the plurality of non-linear resistance members 21, 22, 23 having different voltages at which reduction amounts in the resistance values become equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
