To provide a western style toilet device that allows a user to check the inside of a bowl readily after completion of washing while a toilet lid is closed, and to provide a toilet seat device.SOLUTION: A western style toilet device 1 is configured to start washing with a toilet washing unit 13 when washing instruction means issues a washing instruction and then a toilet lid open/close detection unit 21 determines that a toilet lid 20 is closed. In the western style toilet device, a control unit 5 is configured to control a toilet lid drive unit 22 to open the toilet lid 20 when determining that washing is completed after the toilet washing unit 13 starts washing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】便蓋の閉状態での洗浄がなされた後に手間なくボウル内を確認することができる洋風便器装置および便座装置を提供する。【解決手段】洋風便器装置１は、洗浄指示手段から洗浄指示があったとき、その後、便蓋開閉検知部２１により便蓋２０が閉状態であると判断された場合に便器洗浄部１３による洗浄が開始される構成とされ、制御部５は、便器洗浄部１３による洗浄の開始後、洗浄終了を判別した場合に、便蓋駆動部２２を制御して便蓋２０を開く動作構成とされている。【選択図】図１
